Here at the Castle Dairy, we pride ourselves on our innovative cuisine produced in a state of the art purpose-built kitchen. As an apprenticeship academy, we want to share our knowledge and inspire fellow food enthusiasts and whilst inspiring the next generation of chefs we also want to open our doors to anyone who is intrigued to join us in our kitchen. We have regular evening cookery classes, wine tastings as well as the chance to have a day in the kitchen with Chris and the team.

A unique opportunity to witness an evening service in a professional kitchen from our very own chef’s table. Up to 4 people can sit opposite the pass from which Head Chef Chris O’Callaghan will talk you through a minimum of 10-courses. Reservation time is 6:30 – 7:00 pm. We only have the one chefs table so advance booking is essential.
Chef for a Day
– £100 per person, per day –
It’s a 9:30 am start for morning coffee with Chef before the kitchen preparation and tuition. You’ll then enjoy our Lunch Tasting Menu at the Chefs Table before putting your skills to the test and getting involved in an evening service! A rare opportunity to join the brigade for a day and pick up unique tips and tricks from the professionals. A perfect gift for those interested in a behind-the-scenes look at kitchen life. This is a day designed for one person, couples may be considered on request.
Licence to Cook
A completely bespoke package that is designed around you and your ambitions. You can then host your own evening in the restaurant under the guidance of Head Chef Chris O’Callaghan.
